Based on an 18th century “a l’anglaise” dress, this outfit made from antique kimonos plays with the diversity of the european and japanese fashion codes of this era : plunging back neckline silhouette, crossed front, “bunko musubi” like tied belt, both cultures are coexisting in an harmonious way. The colors, soft and pastel contrast with the feelings of the queen, whose reign is on the decline.
