Using the typical but unsung silhouette of the “robe de style”, this dress plays with the notions of fragility and transparence, using powder pink tulle elegantly decorated with guipure appliqués, on the top of an under-dress of kimono silk crepe, entirely hand-sewn. The barely awaken cherry blossoms are visible but cannot be reached, sheltered – or caged- in their delicate panniers.
